In The Works.....

Here are two of my stitcheries in progress.
All stitched up, antiqued and ready to be
made into something needful.
My fingers have been very busy this week.

The one on the left is a Pineberry Lane Patten,
one of my favorites and I'll be making
it into a sewing needlebook with an inside
pocket to hold your scissors and some
thread.  The other is a Stacy Nash
Primitives pattern, which I'm pretty sure
is going to become a ditty bag with a
homespun lining and handle.

So much to stitch and so little time.

Hoping your day is a productive one!

A Tisket A Tasket

Here's the latest piece that I'm working on.
I thought I'd show you what it looks like before I
finish it into a little sewing box.

It's done on 32ct raw linen that's been
stained and the floss is very muted
colors of drab brown, tan and green
Old mop buttons are sewn on for flowers.
I hope to offer this next month on TDIPT.

I just finished the velvet and wool
strawberry scissor fob for my little pair
of sewing scissors.  I love how they turned
out and they make me smile.

better view.

Happy stitching !

piece of wool to keep all your pins in a safe place.

This pinkeep is cross stitched on antiqued linen
